Here's a quick list of do's & don'ts when using your wheat bag:

  1. Don't leave your wheat bag unattended while heating at any time.
  2. Ensure your microwave is clean from any food residue and your microwave turntable isn't obstructed and can turn freely.
  3. Ensure your wheat bag is fully dry before heating.
  4. Wheat bags aren't to be used as bed warmers or under blankets.
  5. Clean: Don't put your wheat bag in a washing machine. Spot clean only.
  6. Rehydrate: Add a cup of water in your microwave while heating to rehydrate the wheat if your wheat bag starts to smell burnt.
  7. Reheat: Ensure your wheat bag has completely cooled before reheating (this can take up to 2 hours).

How long do you heat a wheat bag in the microwave?

We recommend a maximum of 2.5 minutes when heating a wheat bag in a microwave. If your microwave is 1000 watts, we recommend 1.5 minutes max.

When heating a wheat bag in a microwave, first check to see if it's clean and free from food and liquid. Then place your wheat bag in a microwave and heat on full power for:

- 2.5 mins - 700 Watt
- 2 mins - 800 Watt
- 1.5 min - 1000 Watt

Before heating, make sure the wheat grains inside the wheat bag are evenly distributed. This ensures that the heat is distributed uniformly when you use it.

Place the wheat bag on a microwave-safe plate or dish. This helps to keep your microwave clean and provides additional support for the bag during heating.

For larger wheat bags, consider heating in intervals. Heat for a minute, then check the warmth. Repeat this process until you reach the desired temperature.

By following these simple steps, you can safely and effectively heat your microwaveable wheat bag in the microwave. Enjoy the natural, comforting warmth it provides for pain relief and relaxation, and make it a staple in your self-care routine.

      Wheat Bag Safety

Please remember wheat bag safety - Never leave your wheat bag unattended when heating and watch for signs of overheating such as a burning smell, or smoke. Should this occur, remove the product from the microwave immediately and place on a cold surface such as a kitchen sink.
