Can you wash a wheat bag?

Can you wash your wheat bag in a washing machine?

No, don't put your wheat bag in a washing machine (unless it has a removeable cover), it will cause the wheat to get wet, which will ruin it and it'll have to be thrown away.

Our current range of wheat bags don't have a removeable cover. If your wheat bag does have a cover, please refer to the manufacturer's care instructions before you put it in the wash, as different materials require different wash settings.

If you can't find care instructions, washing at 30 degrees is the safest option.

How to wash one of our wheat bags

To wash a wheat bag you've purchased from us, we recommended simply spot cleaning them with either a sponge or cloth and warm water with a mild detergent. 

Please remember, don't heat your wheat bag straight after cleaning or when wet or damp.
